My check engine light came on for my O2 sensor upstream so I replaced it and the light went off for about a week. Now my check engine light came back on and code p2238 is coming up. I bought the right part which was recommended, can it be the sensor again or what can be causing this code???

Good morning,

This is an electrical issue, not a component issue. Codes do not identify failed parts, just failed systems.

I attached a flow chart for you for the code. It indicates a low voltage to the connector for the heater circuit. You need to verify the power at the connector.
