Came on and it reduces the trucks power when driving. So I replaced the throttle body and it is still doing it. Is there something else I need to replace?

Hello,

This could be a problem with unwanted high resistance in the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) circuit. In the diagrams down below I have included the factory diagnostic troubleshooting guide for Direct Trouble Code (DTC) P2135. It will require you to have a code reader with the ability to read the vehicle's PIDS, and use a digital multi-meter (DMM), so here is a link explaining how to use a DMM, if needed, below.

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex

I just had the transmission replaced then it started to give me the p2135 code about two weeks later. Is there a chance that it could be a ground that they didn't hook back up?

Hello again,

I would be looking for a damaged connector or a connector with a loose wire, or a damage wire somewhere in the circuit. If you look in the guide for DTC P2135 which was sent earlier, the third diagram tells you everything you need to know about the nature of the fault, high resistance. All those things mentioned will produce high resistance[unwanted] in an electrical circuit. It could very well be a loose or dirty or loose ground that is causing this DTC to set. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
