Code P1572 - Bad brake switch circuit. Most common solution is to replace the brake switches. One activates the brake lights and turns off the cruise control while the other controls a different circuit and the traction control and can stop the transmission from shifting properly if it is sticking.

Easiest solution is to replace the switches. But you need to know which chassis number you have as there are two different switch types depending on the chassis number (build date) from chassis # M99486 up is different than the earlier ones. They do not interchange. The switches run between twenty and fifty dollars depending on which ones you need.
I have also seen this code if the wiring harness to the switches id damaged. Without a scan tool to read the switch activation information this can be hard to track down especially if it an intermittent fault.

Replacing them is not hard, you push the brake pedal down and hold it. Then reach up to the switch and its bracket. The switch has a couple tabs you squeeze and rotate it 1/4 turn to the left (counter clock wise) and it comes out of the bracket. Then disconnect the wire from it. Reverse the process to install the replacements.
