Car won't go past 3000 RPM is this the camshaft sensor?

This problem has to do with the distributor and the sensor inside which is inside. What happens is the bearing goes bad due to lack of oiling and it takes out the sensor. We can see evidence of this when you remove the cap and see rust colored dust. Its best to get a rebuilt unit from Amazon and install it.
