Can you tell me if you noticed any issues with the speedometer when you drove it home? Also, if you look at the attached pics, it indicates possible causes. The first one is low transmission fluid. I can't even ask you to check it because you need a dipstick that only the dealer will have. Ugh!!

Let me know. Also, is that the correct mileage?

Nothing that I noticed with the speedometer. The transmission dipstick, would any dealer have that or would it have to be Chrysler? Also, the code reader said all four ignition coils don’t work.

Most likely, you will need to contact a Chrysler dealer. I feel it's crazy that to check transmission fluid this has to be done, but to the best of my knowledge, you can't purchase the dipstick aftermarket.

Now, I'm a bit concerned about the coils. By any chance, do you know the exact code that was retrieved?

I would like you to check something for me. The vehicle has an ASD fuse and relay that I want you to check. They are located in the under hood power distribution box. If the fuse is bad, it won't get a signal to the coils and can be related to the transmission.

Now, the relay is a bit different that checking a fuse. Here is what I suggest. Locate the relay. See if there is another relay in the box with the same part number. If there is, switch them to see if that changes anything. If there isn't, here is a link explaining how to test the relay:

Hi I’m Crystals boyfriend owner of the 200 as well. I tested the relay by waiting with one of same size (rear defroster) and it still did nothing. Mileage is 100,291.

Were you able to confirm there is power the ASD relay? I have to be honest, every coil doesn't go bad at the same time. If the ASD is good and powering, for all to go bad at once, I suspect either the PCM has failed or come disconnected, which is unlikely but possible.

Here is how this works: The ASD relay circuit provides power to the ignition coils. The Power-train Control Module (PCM) completes the ground circuit (low side driver) allowing the energy to build the magnetic field of the primary coil. The PCM will open the low side driver to allow the magnetic field to collapse to the secondary winding and be transferred to the spark plug.

Every code you have is the same but indicates a different cylinder. That is what is leading me to my conclusion. If there is power from the ASD, the PCM isn't providing a ground when needed.

Thank you so much for all your help. We fixed it! It was just our ignition coil fuse. Haha!

That is great news. I suspected it was something that shut everything off. All kidding aside, when you told me the fuses and ASD relay were good, I had a bad feeling. That really would have left the power-train control module (PCM). That wouldn't have been cheap to fix.
