Code P0018?

Cutting out, lost acceleration, then cut off. wouldn't crank for about 30 minutes. checked. oil and it looked like chocolate milk.

Hi,

The code you have is related to the crankshaft/camshaft correlation. In other words, the computer thinks there is a timing issue. If this has the original timing chain, it may have stretched or jumped a tooth.

When I check the code, P0018, it tells me to check P0016. See pics below.

The one thing that I noticed is the issue can be the result of engine oil restrictions. The oil is a concern. Is the engine coolant low? Have you changed the oil? If the oil is thinned by a contaminant, it can lower oil pressure and cause this.

Let me know. Also, let me know if the vehicle is doing the same thing at all temperatures.
