Code P-700 engine light on

Driving car engine light came on. Code P-700 was stated as problem?

Code 700 just means there is a fault code in the transmission computer. Simple code readers only read codes in the engine computer, not those in all the other computers. You can try having the codes read at an auto parts store where they will read them for you for free, but you might have to find a mechanic with a scanner that can access the transmission computer.
