Code 82, no spark?

Brand new distributor. Brand new coil. But I cannot get an RPM signal to the ECM. Tried also replacing ignition control module and still no spark.

Hi,

The code is a transmission code related to the 1-2 shift solenoid, so that isn't related. As far as the no-spark issue, are you getting power to the coil? There should be a pink wire from the ignition switch providing power with the key in the start or run position. See pic below. Check that and let me know if power is present.
