Code 41

Code 41 came on. Cuts out and check engine light came on. Also code 12 but I never disconnected the battery. Volt gauge is now like 10 battery six months old.

Good morning,

You need to charge your battery. it needs to be at 12.4 to 12.6 volts.

code 12 is low voltage and 10 volts will set the code.

code 41 is for the charging system. it could be either the alternator or the voltage regulator.
