Will not put out check engine light codes but was able to get a 237 code and a 111 by test light/jump wire under the hood. Disconnecting the connector of the DPFE sensor found KOEO the was reading: reference was 5vlt, ground was.1vlt, return signal was.18vlt. KOEO there is not much difference in voltage. Bad gas mileage, stumbles, does not like hills, it loses velocity and I have to drop it into a lower gear to gain more speed. It stalls out regularly anytime anywhere, there does not seem to be a pattern for its defiance. It could be from taking off, turning a corner, going the speed limit on a freeway, or even heading straight toward the guard rail of a bridge. I can drop it into a lower gear and recirculate the key, and it will start right back up every time like it never missed a beat, even on the freeway. However, if panic the steering wheel will lock up on you. Hence the "headed straight towards a guard rail of a bridge." From what I researched it is starving of air. With the connector voltage readings, what do I do now?

Code 237 in the OBD-I system is not applicable. The OBD-I system for Ford vehicles typically uses two-digit codes, and code 237 doesn't have a specific meaning in this context.

Here is how to get the codes:
