receiving codes 1762, 1763 & 304 one time . I have changed fuel injectors, spark plugs,, spark plug wires, dist cap. jeep starts right up runs rough like it has a vaccumn leak, not like a ignition misfire just low rough idle this while in neutral, when I put it in gear to drive it really starts to run rough bad.it will shift thru all gears, but runs rough and has some loss of power ,running on freeway it will downshift when needed but it still will be running rough. I checked for air leaks in hoses found none yet, could this be some part of the emission system that I,m missing, will the transmission sensor 1762 code cause this condition ,the service engine light is not on. any help would be appreciated

P1762 and P1763 are to do with the governor solenoid and sensor. They will effect shifting but not running.

If the full code for the last one is P0304, that is a misfire in #4 cylinder, which could be the cause of it running rough. I would swap the plugs between cylinders 2 and 4 and see if the misfire follows the plug. If yes then replace the plug (or change them all if they are OEM) If the misfire doesn't follow the plug then it may be the injector. Swap it the same way.
