I have only had a 3 piece clutch fitted in my car (1.8 tddi) five weeks ago and yesterday when the car was warm, it feels like it is slipping again what could this be?

The first thing to do is take it back two whoever fitted the new clutch and get them to inspect their work, this should be a warranty issue for them to sort out.

I have been told by a friend that if the seal does leak over the clutch plate that it is no good after that Evan if I change the seal I will need a new plate
