How to detach the clutch rod from the transmission?

Working on rebuilding the shifter but cannot figure out how to detach the clutch rod from the transmission

So sorry. I am just used to answering that question for auto transmissions. Here is the process for a manual.

Thank you! Have one more question though, what is the part between 16 and 17? The guy I bought it from really did a number on this thing and cut that part and needs to be replaced. Thanks!

Just so I am clear, this part that I circled? If so, that is part of the spring pin (16). However, I am not confident that you will find just that part. You may need to get the shifter assembly or find a salvage yard that has one and will let you take just that piece.
