Clutch pressure plate replacement, cannot get the tratto slide into place?

I'm reinstalling the clutch pressure plate and flywheel. I can't get the tratto slide into place. It's getting stopped about an inch from where it is supposed to. I am now taking transmission back down and going to remove clutch etc. To start over again.

Hi,

I believe there are dowel pins that the disc needs to be aligned with for the pressure plate to seat.

Do me a favor. I attached everything I have on clutch replacement below. Take a look through it and let me know if anything helps.
