I was told that since the gearbox is quite heavy, it is best to take the engine out in order to change the clutch. It seems like a lot of works to replace the clutch. I have never changed a clutch plate o an 4x4. so I am not sure if it can be done in a conventional manner by uncoupling at the bell housing from the engine, decoupling the prop-shaft and moving the gearbox away to allow access to plate and diaphragm. Thank you in advance.
