Clutch pedal was not working. Clutch stays on cab floor. Buy new clutch master cylinder and install it, Bleed the system as instructed by Chilton Mazda Truck Manuel. Notice no leaks at slave cylinder or anywhere before I started the job or after installation. I start the truck and take foot off clutch. Pedal comes up two or three inches. To travel down the road I have to pull clutch pedal up by hand. I bleed the system again. Other than hydraulic pressure what other forces push pedal off cab floor? Or is the release bearing or fork binding up or damaged? Or, is the pressure plate the problem? One last note, the truck was not driven for a year. Thank you for reading this. JC

Hello,

This could be an adjustment problem on your vehicle's clutch. When I was researching the proper height adjustment for your vehicle;s clutch, the only adjustment height I could find for your vehicle was for a Miata. I am not sure why, but this is from Mazda, so I sent it along other information for you in the diagrams down below. Please go through the guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
