Clutch may be slipping

Clutch seems to slip in 3rd to 5th gear slightly.

Hi,

If the clutch is starting to fail, it will be most noticeable in fifth gear when the engine is under a heavy load. Try this. When driving in 5th, let off the throttle and then hit it hard to see if the engine rpms increase and the vehicle doesn't.

If that happens, the clutch needs to be replaced.

I attached the directions for the removal and replacement of the clutch assembly. Additionally, the removal includes what to check.

The transmission needs to be removed to replace the clutch assembly.
