I bought the car and first gear doesn't work. Ran scans and needed that TPS and O2 sensor. I replaced the TPS first still doesn't work and grinds a little going into third. Does the clutch just need adjusting, replaced or am I looking at complete transmission rebuild?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

First gear doesn't work at all? Does it make any type of noise? Is the clutch fluid full? Have you checked the shift linkage?

Lets start simple. Here are directions for adjusting the shift cable. Something may be out of adjustment or broken. Take a look through the procedure and try it to see if it helps. The attached pics correlate with the directions.
