clutch felt like it slipped?

When driving to work this morning the clutch felt like it slipped and revved up high when shifting. There is not as much pushback from the pedal when I go to shift now. She’s still shifting gears ok, but she’s revving pretty high before evening out some.

Hi,

If you are able to rev the engine with the transmission engaged and the engine revs but the vehicle doesn't accelerate, it does sound like it is slipping.

Try this. Find a hill nearby where you can get the transmission into 5th gear. When climbing the hill, push the engine hard to see if the clutch will slip. If it is faulty, that is when it would be most likely to happen.

Yep, that is a sign the clutch is ready to be replaced, which is a normal service. Here is a video that will help confirm the problem:
