Clutch pedal goes to the floor?

Recently while I was driving my car my clutch started to act weird while I was driving every day that passed as I drove it seemed to worsen there were noises as I pushed on the clutch even if it was just barely. And then the noise became a constant screeching at first it was only happening when I push the clutch pedal to shift but it got worse to where it was constant screeching noise no matter whether I had the clutch press or not. My question is, why is my clutch now down all the way to the ground and I could still lift it with my hand but it seems like it could be the cable, but I do not know a lot about a standard vehicle.

I have seen the clutch secondary cylinder fail and make noise and not return the clutch pedal, also the clutch cable can be bad that's why we need to know where the noise is coming from. Here is a video of the clutch being replaced including the secondary cylinder:
