Hi there.

I have recently had a new clutch put on my car. For a while, it worked excellently. I did not have to push my foot through the foot-well to change gear. Recently however, I am finding it harder and harder to change gear, especially during a long journey. I have found that if I put my foot under the pedal and pull it up, it makes it slightly easier to change gear, but it is still very difficult.

Also, if I go for a journey (does not matter how long), my car sometimes wont start. It will struggle for ages, then revs up to 2000/3000 revs, then it drops off, idles roughly and then it dies.

Any ideas about how to fix these problems?

CHECK YOUR CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER 'S FLUID LEVEL

LOOK FOR LEAKS.

MAYBE BLEED THE SYSTEM, TO GET ANY AIR OUT.

CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER OR SLAVE CYLINDER MIGHT ALSO BE GOING BAD.
