Are you unable to get it back in gear? Also, does the shift linkage feel like it has the same tension as it did prior to this happening?

Will the transmission shift with the engine off?

Let me know.

I can put it in gear but when I accelerate the car just revs, like if it was on neutral.

Hi,

Is there any noise when you release the clutch? It sounds like the pressure plate has failed. Also, make sure the driveshaft is connected.

Let me know.
