The wheel bearings, rear shocks, and the control arms in the front have been replaced. The car sways when going at a fast speed and when slowing down and stopping steering wheel pulls to the right and moves a lot. Has delayed start when pressing on the gas fuel decreases fast.

Hi,

The clunk can be the result of several things. Is there anything you can do to cause it? For example, do you only hear it when hitting a bump?

As far as the steering, lift one front wheel off the ground at a time. Try to wiggle the tire left and right and then up and down to see if there is excessive play. If there is, we need to inspect the tie rods or ball joints.

Next, inspect the sway bar, sway bar bushings, and sway bar links. Most commonly, a broken link will cause a clunking sound. See pic below. I highlighted what to inspect. Note that number 17 in the picture is the sway bar link. There will be one on each side.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

joe
