On the left side there is clunking?

Is there something common on these cars that cause that?

It sounds like the sway bar links or swap bar mount bushings are worn out which is common in these cars. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. Here is how to change them out. Check out the images (below). When is the clunking happening? Driving down the road? Turning? Hitting rough roads? Or is it engine related so you hear it with the engine running at idle? Different possibilities for each.

Okay, then it could be the sway links or the bushings That normally will make a solid clunk. If it's more of a rattle like something shaking that could be the strut mounts. The easy way to test is to simply disconnect the sway bar link on the left side and see if the noise stops.

The air strut option doesn't have replaceable mounts, but they also tend to wear less than the conventional strut mounts. The sway links are a more common failure item. I have also seen loose engine cradle bolts cause clunks but those are not common.

Those are a pain. If you go by the book you have to remove most of the front parts to clear out room if it has the air suspension because the bolts won't clear the air bag on the strut. I've done them by dropping the air out of the bag with a scan tool using the deflate option. Then unbolting the top of the strut. Next unbolt the ball joint from the knuckle. Now go in with a wrench and start backing one bolt out. Now lift the truck just enough that the strut comes out on top and push it back enough to wiggle that bolt out. Now do the opposite bolt. Then reverse the process to install the replacement arm. Don't torque the bolts down without having the jeep at ride height.
The book tells you that you remove the front half shaft, then deflate and remove the air strut. Then you can remove the bolts and the upper ball joint and the arm. Then reverse that process.
