Clunk noise

Hello, recently when driving i would pull up to a red light or stop sign and as I am taking off at low speed I hear this clunk noise under my car and then it takes awhile to pick up speed and all the symbols come up at once ( P,N,D,R,1,2) and check engine light kicks in. I will park the car at home then the next day the engine light will be off, but the same problem will occur when i go for a drive.

have it scanned for codes auto parts may pick it up, but a mechanics scanner should if auto parts wont.

Had it scanned and they told me it needs a engine tune up... plugs and wire's.. did that and problem still occured.

sounds like a misfire have them scan for codes then freeze frame it.. it may be another sensor gone bad causing it.
