of course oil on a clutch would have to be a lot though. see if has a hydraulic problem first but with 200k and if it is original it is probably the clutch is worn. If you can shift with engine off but not running normally it's the clutch.

Does the clutch have to be changed out to fix it..yes was alot of oil from motor front oil seal?

it probably is rear main seal leaking that got the clutch wet, the fix is to repair the oil leak first so it doesn't happen again then replace the clutch.and clean all the oil around it inside flywheel with brake clean
