Engine starts. While running the car can be put into all gears. The car doesn't move, the engine acts as if the transmission is in neutral while in gear. The clutch doesn't need to be pushed to put the car into any gear as well.

Hi,

The first thing I recommend checking is if the shift linkage is damaged. The shift linkage on this vehicle are steel and have bushings that may have worn and come apart. You will need to open the hood to locate them on the transmission.

I attached an exploded view of the shift linkage below so that you would have an idea of what to look for.

Next, if you have a broken CV joint or axle, it will do this. Check for any damage under the front of the vehicle where they are located. Inspect the rubber CV boots for leaks or damage.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
