Steering wheel controls are not working (cruise, horn, radio) and flashing airbag warning light?

Replaced clock spring transferring my angle sensor to new clock spring (battery was disconnected). Cruise, horn, radio works but the airbag light still flashing. VDC and slip lights are illuminated now also.
Clock spring and angle sensor reset?

Hi,

Were you certain the spiral cable was positioned correctly when you reattached everything? It can break if it wasn't. Also, do you have a scan tool that can read can-bus codes? If you do, that is where I suggest starting.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all the modules are tied together via a few wires and communicate with each other. This type of scan would identify a fault with the airbag module itself.

Spiral cable was installed correctly to the best of my knowledge. The new cable was locked in position upon arrival. I have no scanning device, is there a procedure for resetting warning lights manually (airbag, VDC, slip).

A CAN scan will help you see what's going on which is easy to do, you can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $30.00.
