I have the car listed above SL 5-seater with a 4-speed automatic transmission. I removed the navigation box due to the maps being so outdated and I wanted room for a larger storage box down by the shifter. After I removed the box the service engine soon light came on with four codes and the clock quit showing time. It just reads 0:00. Those codes were P0183, P0507, U1001 and I failed to get the last code. I reset my service engine soon light, but the light never went out. After clearing the codes from the car's computer, the 'service engine soon' light went out and stayed out. However, the clock is still inoperative. I can go into settings and change the Time Zone, but when I attempt to change the time, nothing happens. I went to the wrecking yard and got a control board from a Maxima that never had a Navigation system, so it has "Clock" reset buttons showing on the face. The one from my car does not have clock reset buttons showing on the face. When the clock worked, I had to reset the clock from the "Settings" screen (prior to removing the Nav Box). My question is, will installing the replacement control face with the 'clock reset buttons' cause any electrical failures and will it fix my clock?

The navigation module is interrogated into the CAN system which controls the car, you must have it, I would reinstall the module. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
