Had issue with the anti-roll bar link breaking, has been held up with cable ties awaiting parts to be delivered tomorrow. Whether it is now a co-incidence or related but the steering has become heavy. It isn't to the point where it feels like there is no power steering but it has become more heavy to drive. It is driving fine and feels stable to drive but something has definitely changed! My dad has had a look today and said the belt looks fine, fluid is full cannot see anything obvious. He is pretty good with cars so any advice on what to check is greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Yes it does sounds like you have a power steering pump has gone out, but I would try to flush the system first. Also, check the fluid level. Here are a couple of guides that will help you get the problem fixed.

Please let us know what happens.
