climate control stuck on upper vents

vents will only blow to top will not switch to defrost or bottom to feet did hvac system self check and got a code 10 would like to know what that code means

THE IAT (INTERNAL AIR TEMPERTURE) SENSOR IS DISCONNECTED OR BAD AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. IT'S MOUNTED IN THE TOP DASH. THE DEALER CAN HELP U WITH THE EXACT LOCATION.
