My climate control doesn't turn the blower on, I've changed all the bad fuses that I can find. The blower does work, I can confirm by jumping 12 volts directly to the fan. I appreciate any feedback!

Hi,

First, I attached the wiring schematic below, so you have a reference. The schematic is for manual climate control. If you have automatic climate control, let me know.

The system runs in a way that is backward. Power is supplied to the relay and then through the motor, the resister, and then the circuit is grounded through the speed control switch.

Now, if you are able to jump the secondary side of the relay and the fan runs, I need to know if you have control over the fan speed.

If you do, then the issue is likely on the primary side of the relay. For power to be supplied to the motor, the relay primary needs to be powered to close the switch and allow power to reach the motor, power goes from the fan switch (when turned on) to the engine control module which completes the circuit for the primary side of the relay actuating the secondary side.,

So, we need to confirm the primary side is working. Using a test lamp, jump the two terminals for the primary side of the relay and turn the fan on. Does it light? If it doesn't, attach the test lamp alligator clip to a known good ground and probe the connectors to see if one is providing power. If you do find there is power, check the opposite connector for continuity to ground.

Let me know what you find or if you have questions. Also, sorry this was so long. It's difficult to explain via the written word. In person, it would take five minutes. LOL

Take care,

Joe
