Is it worth it to have major air conditioner work done on a 2004 subaru forester, or should I just get a new car?

it would be worth it in my opinion.Subarus tend to last a long time, so fixing it would be worth it in the long run if you can see yourself keeping the car.It all depends on whether or not you want to keep it.Fixing would help the resale even if you want to get rid of it
