Can i use a climate control module if the part numbers are not the same but similar?

i gave Nissan dealer my VIN, they said the new part will fit my car although it isn't the same part number (part numbers are similar).

Hi,

Oftentimes, part numbers are replaced with new numbers. I'm not sure if that is what you are dealing with, but it is very possible that they are correct.

Keep in mind, manufacturers can use different part numbers for the same replacement part depending on the year, and model.

If you let me know the numbers, I will try to cross-reference them to see if they are the same.
