Climate control not working properly

Hello gentlemen, I'm having a heck of a time figuring out why the climate control will not switch the air coming out to any other vents. It is stuck in one position. I have replaced the climate control module, to no avail, nothing changed. All lights work and air temp blends correctly, still does not switch vents, even though it lights up to reflect the mode change. I have looked at the actuator, attempted to replace it, removed the old one, plugged in new one, turned on ignition and the actuator pin did not rotate.

Hello,

The issue does sound like a faulty mode door actuator as you have suspected.

One thing to keep in mind when installing a new actuator is that the key must be in the off position before removal and installation of the new actuator. Otherwise, the actuator will not initialize properly and not function or could have incorrect setting.

Let me know if this is something you followed when installing the replacement.
