Climate control Bowden cable

My Bowden cable is hooked up to control unit behind glove box, but the other end is not hooked up, I cannot see a place to hook it in. Any suggestions?

I have a 1987 audi 5000cs quattro and I need to know how to get the heater assembly out whats bolts hold it in under the dash and passager glove box cant find them

A heater core job is very complicated, I suggest you get a manual to assist you during the operation and if you have any questions during the operation you can let me know
