I have a problem with my car. The drivers side blows hot air. I checked every actuator and everything is in order. My system is charged and blows cold air on the passenger side. I think the problem is the heater control valve. Do you know where is located?

Hello,

This car does not have a heater control valve. It sounds like the blend door actuator is bad but you say you replaced it? How is it in order? Here is a guide to show you what you are in for when doing the job and a diagram of the blend door location below:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Thank you for your insight. The blend door actuator works. I checked the coolant and it is okay. I think it has some kind of valve. Anyways, I have an appointment to the dealer next week and I hope they will sort things out.
My car has a PTC heater (positive temperature coefficient heater). Maybe it has something to do with that.

It could but those are electrical units, maybe the controller has gone bad. Please let me know what you find.
