Clicking/popping noise when making a turn

1998 CHEVROLET LUMINA
240,000 MILES • 3.1L • V6 • FWD • AUTOMATIC

This has been doing this for some time now, the driver side front tire busted off once.
I've replaced cv joints and struts. Still makes popping sound.
Could it be the transaxle?

Does the popping noise change with speed? Have you checked the ball joints and other steering components?
