Clapping sound?

OK, so I have adjusted the rear brake shoes probably about a half a dozen times now and after a driver too, I get the same result every time where when I press on the brake pedal, it sounds like a clapping sound is coming from the rear brake drum I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong with it but it’s getting very annoying and if you can give me any pointers or assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

I would back off the adjustment slightly and give it another try, Also, recheck the brake springs and the condition of the shoes if they are worn or you have a broken spring that will be the issue. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? that way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response.

Yep, if the springs are broken or weak it will allow the brake shoes to ride against the drum and make that sound. Upload an image of the problem so I can help confirm if you can.
