2002 Citroen Xsara Central Lock malfunctioning

2002 Citroen Xsara 55000 miles

Hi,
One day my remote did not work for opening or closing the car. It only opens the boot now. I changed the cell but no improvement. I tried to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery and trying to reprogram the key by pressing lock button after turning ignition but no results.
It only opens boot now, rest I have to do manually. The central lock is not working when I lock the driver or front passenger door.
Please help anyone.

sounds like you have a fault on the BCM (body control module) it will need plugging into a diagnostic computer to locate the fault !
