2002 Citroen Xsara Manual 141000 miles

Would it be possible to corrupt the files and damage the bsi unit and injection ecu in a Citreon Xsara Picasso during a clutch replacement?

It is possible to damge the ECU of any vehicle if care is not taken when carrying out repairs .. removing the power source to ECU (battery) during a repair is standard practice ...even static electricity can cause damage .. I cannot comment on whether your ECU was damaged during a repair ?
