2001 Citroen Xsara fan relay

i do not know where my fan relay is. please help. my fan is not coming on and i'm overheating. fan does work if i short it. but there is no power reaching it. is it the relay and where can i locate it? help

check the fuse ... the fan motor is controlled by the PCM/ECU (computer) which is sent temp signals from the coolant temperature sensor ...there is no relay !
