2000 Citroen Xsara 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 200000 miles

this car failed the road test because the transmission was said to be leaking. Is it likely to be possible to repair the problem rather than to replace the cause of the problem?

a good transmmission shop should be able to replace the seals
