2000 Citroen Xsara Two Wheel Drive Manual 700000 miles
My citreon xsara suddenly cuts out and goes completely dead whilst driving. The engine and all electrics suddenly die. It has happened twice in the past 24 hours. Each time I have been able to pull over and the car has restarted immediately on turning the ignition. This identical proble happened 3 years ago, however on that occaision the car would not restart until I changed the battery. What should I do? Would it be reasonable to begin by trying a new battery? The present battery is 3 years old. Many thanks for your assistance and time.
