Heater problem
2001 Citroen Picasso Front Wheel Drive Manual 92000 miles

Just changed the rad on a citroen picasso 2.0ltr hdi 2001. Now my heater is blowing cold air. Tried bleeding the system by loosening the hoses. The inlet and outlet hoses get hot thus ruling out the thermostat. Don't know where the heater core is so can't check it. The heater was running fine 'till I changed the rad, any ideas please?

Flush the cooling system incuding heater core which is located inside the heater blower unit, the inlet/outlet hoses through firewall are connected to the heater core. Refill system by adding 1 litre of coolant. Start engine and let idle, turn on heater blower to full. Then refill coolant upto correct level. Let engine reach normal operating temp so thermostat opens and top up coolant if necassary. Replace filler cap and check heater
