1999 Citroen Picasso Manual ? miles

i have a citroen picasso 1.8. i tried driving up a small snowy hill and failed to get anywhere as car was sliding. now my abs warning light has come on and wont go off. it is drivable at moment. is the expensive and easily fixable?

probably a broken/faulty sensor on wheel ,, have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to retrieve the fault codes to locate the cause of the fault
