ive fitted a citroen rear suspension beam to my kit car. however my tyres are proud of the bodywork. can the trailing arms and chassis mountings be moved inboard an inch each side to give me the tyre cover needed

This would be a very tricky and expensive undertaking, if you don't get it perfect you will have all manner of alignment problems, unfortunately i cant view this rear end to make a better judgment call, but would it not be easier to just add a slight flair to the rear guard to get past the exposed tyre? just a thought.
