steering wheel locked and keys not turning to unlock it or start engine

Try spraying WD40 down the lock barrell and turning steering wheel from side to side while trying to turn the key .. if this does not work it will have to be drilled out i'm afraid .. if it does work have the ignition lock replaced ASAP
