2005 Citroen C2 revs go high like clutch is down,

When i am driving along and get past 3000 rpm the revs go really high with out any power almost like the clutch has gone down but it has not. then it kinder jumps in to place, seems to only start doing it after i have done around 5miles not all the time.

have the TPS (throttle position) sensor checked and the clutch checked !
