I have a small citroen saxo car. The ignition key is stuck in the ignition barrel. The only way I could stop the engine was to stall it then disconnect the battery. Do I have to purchase and have fitted a new barrel?

Yes you will have to purchase a new barrell and key. Also the key is chipped (coded with a microchip) to the cars ECM (onboard computer) so the new key's will have to be linked to the cars ECM. This can only be done via computer linked to the car.
